From Geneva airport to your chalet in Megève in a little over an hour, on the Autoroute Blanche up the Arve valley. A private chauffeur, a car equipped for snow and a rate fixed before you leave.
Megève is one of the major French resorts closest to Geneva: 88 kilometres, a little over an hour when the road is clear. You cross the border at Bardonnex, take the Autoroute Blanche up the Arve valley, then leave the motorway at Sallanches for the climb through Combloux.
That proximity makes it a weekend destination as much as a ski-week one. Many of our Geneva clients drive up on Friday evening and come back on Sunday, which are exactly the hours when the border and the motorway fill up. So we set the departure time by the day, not by the map.
Megève also means the Four Seasons on Mont d'Arbois, the chalets of Rochebrune and the starred restaurants of the village. Your chauffeur knows how to reach each of them, including the narrow hamlet roads where a large car needs to know how to manoeuvre.
A border, a motorway, then a short climb with Mont Blanc ahead.
About fifteen minutes to the border, on the Swiss side. The crossing that saturates on Friday evenings and in-season Saturdays.
Up the Arve valley through Bonneville and Cluses to Sallanches. Quick midweek, busier on big changeover days.
About a dozen kilometres of mountain road to the village. Winter tyres and chains on board in season.
Flight, private jet or Geneva address, passengers and skis. Rate and car confirmed in writing.
Swiss side, French side or the business aviation terminal, as agreed.
Your flight is followed from take-off. A delay moves the meeting time, with no waiting charge.
Dropped at the exact address, on Mont d'Arbois, in Rochebrune or in the village.
The centre of Megève, around the church and the village square, is pedestrian, and the chalets climb the slopes of Mont d'Arbois, Rochebrune and Le Jaillet. For a dinner in the village your chauffeur drops you as close as possible and comes back at the agreed time, which spares you the search for a parking space on a February Saturday night.
Haute-Savoie applies the French mountain law from November to the end of March: four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot, and a 135 euro fine if stopped without them. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.
If your flight lands in Lyon rather than Geneva, we also run the Lyon to Megève transfer, about two hours with no border crossing.
For one or two travellers, ideal for a weekend in the village.
For arriving rested after the flight, with the quiet you expect from a car of this class.
The family and group car: seven seats, cases and ski bags.
Confirmed in writing before you book, unchanged by snow or delays.
We know the hours when Bardonnex saturates and leave accordingly.
Winter tyres and chains on board from November to March.
Out on Friday evening, back on Sunday, at the times that suit you.
A little over an hour from Geneva airport on clear roads, for 88 kilometres. On Friday evenings and winter Saturdays, allow an extra half hour, mostly at the border.
Only for the first few kilometres, from the airport to the Bardonnex border. Our cars already carry the Swiss motorway vignette, and the rest of the drive is in France.
