From Geneva airport to Méribel, at the heart of the Three Valleys. About two and a quarter hours via Annecy, Albertville and Moûtiers, a private chauffeur and a rate fixed before you leave.
Méribel fills the Allues valley between Courchevel and Les Menuires, and that central position draws a loyal clientele, British in particular, who stay in chalets rather than hotels. From Geneva you cross the border at Bardonnex, head for Annecy and then Albertville, and the N90 takes you to Moûtiers.
From Moûtiers the road climbs eighteen kilometres through Brides-les-Bains and Les Allues to Méribel centre at 1,450 metres, and a little further to Mottaret at 1,750. In the dry the climb takes about twenty minutes, much longer on a February Saturday.
Méribel hosted the women's alpine events of the 1992 Olympic Games and, with Courchevel, the 2023 World Championships. The resort kept a well-practised organisation from those events, and we kept the habit of leaving early on the busiest days.
The border, the Tarentaise, then the Allues valley. Your chauffeur knows where time is lost and when to avoid it.
From the airport to Bardonnex, then the motorway to Annecy. The quick part, except on in-season Saturdays at the border.
The Tarentaise expressway, where the Moûtiers bottleneck concentrates Saturday slowdowns.
Eighteen kilometres of climb through Brides-les-Bains and Les Allues to Méribel. Winter tyres and chains on board in season.

Swiss or French side, a name board and luggage loaded by your chauffeur.
Your chauffeur watches the forecast and the Tarentaise traffic, and adjusts the time if snow is coming.
Dropped in Méribel centre, Mottaret, Méribel Village or Les Allues, at the right door.
Méribel is a series of villages at different heights: Les Allues at 1,100 metres, Méribel Village at 1,400, Méribel centre at 1,450 and Mottaret at 1,750. Chalets are often reached by narrow, steep roads, and your chauffeur drops you at the right door rather than at the nearest roundabout.
Like the rest of Savoie, Méribel falls under the French mountain law from November to the end of March: 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot, with a 135 euro fine. The steep, shaded chalet roads are where that equipment matters most, and our cars carry it all season.
For a stay split between Méribel and Courchevel, the car also links the two resorts in the evening, when the lifts are closed and the road via Moûtiers becomes the only way across.
For a couple, comfortable on the motorway and sure-footed in the Allues valley.
For a rested arrival after the flight, the comfort shows from the second hour.
The Méribel chalet car: seven seats, a whole family's cases and skis.
Confirmed before you book, unchanged by snow or delays.

About two and a quarter hours from Geneva airport in good conditions. On winter holiday Saturdays, allow an extra 45 minutes to an hour, especially on the approach to Moûtiers.
The Bardonnex border, the motorway to Annecy, then Albertville, the N90 to Moûtiers and the climb through Brides-les-Bains and Les Allues.
Yes, as well as Méribel centre, Méribel Village or Les Allues. Give us the exact address of the chalet.
From November to March the French mountain law requires 3PMSF winter tyres or chains on board in Savoie, and road signs can require chains in heavy snow. Our cars carry both.
Yes. Your chauffeur drives you there and back via Moûtiers, the only road open between the two resorts in winter.
