From Geneva airport to the door of your Verbier chalet, along Lake Geneva, through the Valais and up the road from Le Châble. A private chauffeur, a car prepared for the mountains and a rate fixed before you leave, on arrival and on the way home.
On paper, Geneva to Verbier is one of the simplest transfers in the Alps. From the Swiss exit of the airport the motorway follows Lake Geneva past Nyon, Morges and Lausanne, then runs up the Rhône valley past Montreux, Saint-Maurice and Martigny. You never leave Switzerland, and the motorway vignette is already on the car.
The mountain only starts at Martigny. The road leaves the Rhône valley, follows the Dranse to Sembrancher, enters the Val de Bagnes to Le Châble, then climbs about fifteen kilometres of switchbacks to the village at 1,500 metres. In the dry, that final climb takes fifteen to twenty-five minutes.
Allow about an hour and fifty minutes midweek. On February Saturdays, when the chalets change hands and the motorway clogs around Lausanne, the same drive can come close to three hours. For a return flight we therefore leave earlier than the map suggests.
The lakeside motorway, the Valais motorway, then the climb up the Val de Bagnes. Nothing complicated, as long as you know when to drive it.
From the airport to Lausanne, the busiest motorway in French-speaking Switzerland. Around Lausanne is where the delays build on winter Saturdays.
Past Montreux, Saint-Maurice and Martigny, a wide fast motorway to the foot of the Valais side valleys.
Martigny to Sembrancher, on to Le Châble, then about fifteen kilometres of hairpins to Verbier. The part where winter tyres and chains really matter.
Flight number, passengers, skis and luggage. We confirm the car and the rate in writing.
For Verbier you exit on the Swiss side. Your chauffeur waits in the main arrivals hall with a name board.
Your flight is followed from take-off. A late landing moves the meeting time, with no waiting charge.
Dropped at your exact address, including the residential roads above the village.
Le Châble is the gateway to Verbier. The regional train stops there and the gondola rises to the village in about ten minutes. Some clients prefer to ride up by gondola and leave the luggage in the car: your chauffeur continues by road and meets you at the top, outside the chalet.
Swiss law does not require winter tyres, but a badly equipped car that blocks traffic in snow makes its driver liable, and road signs can make chains mandatory on the Verbier road. Our cars run winter tyres from November with chains on board, and the chauffeurs assigned to the Valais drive this road all season.
Verbier also lives outside the ski weekends, with the Verbier Festival of classical music in summer and, in spring, the Xtreme final on the face of the Bec des Rosses. Those weeks book up quickly, so it pays to write to us early.
For one or two travellers. Quick on the lakeside motorway, sure-footed on the Le Châble hairpins on winter tyres.
When the drive ends or begins a working week. The quiet is most noticeable in the second hour.
The Verbier chalet car: up to seven passengers, ski bags and a week's worth of cases.
Agreed in writing before you book. Neither snow nor a late flight changes it.
Swiss vignette on the car, winter tyres from November and chains on board.
Your flight is tracked from take-off, and waiting caused by a delay is never billed.
Met on the Swiss side, at the exact spot agreed before you land.
A Geneva to Verbier transfer with My Private Service is a private car for your party only, a chauffeur waiting in the arrivals hall, on the Swiss or the French side as you prefer with your name, and a rate fixed in writing before you travel. All in Switzerland, 171 kilometres and about 1h50 along the lake and the Rhône valley to Martigny, then the climb through Le Châble to the village at 1,500 metres.
A taxi from Geneva airport to Verbier runs on the meter and is rarely equipped for the mountain. Shared coach and shuttle transfers leave on a timetable, stop at other resorts and wait for other flights. The train from Geneva reaches Le Châble in about two and a half hours with a change at Martigny, and the last leg is a gondola or a bus. A private airport transfer leaves when you land and drops you at the door, which on a Saturday in February makes the difference.
For a family or a group of friends, the Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with skis and luggage; larger groups travel in two or three vehicles leaving together. The same private ski transfer serves the hotels, the chalets and the chalets of Verbier, Le Châble and the Médran side.
We run the Verbier to Geneva transfer in both directions. For the return, your chauffeur sets the pick-up time from the road conditions and your flight, so the transfer time from Verbier to Geneva airport is never a gamble. Ask for a return quote and both legs are confirmed together.
Transfer cost, transfer time, distance from Geneva to Verbier or simply how to get from Geneva to Verbier: send us the date, your flight and the number of passengers, and you receive a firm price and your chauffeur's name.

The Swiss side. Verbier is in the Valais and the whole drive is in Switzerland. The French sector is only useful for destinations in France, such as Chamonix or Megève.
No. It stays in Switzerland from start to finish, on the A1 along Lake Geneva and the A9 up the Rhône valley to Martigny.
Swiss law does not require winter tyres, but chains can become mandatory by road sign on the Verbier road during snowfall. Our cars run winter tyres from November and carry chains.
Yes, it is a common request. You ride up in about ten minutes, your chauffeur continues by road and meets you at your chalet.
Yes, and we work out the departure time from your flight and the day. On a February Saturday we suggest leaving Verbier four and a half to five hours before take-off.
The price depends on the car, the date and the number of passengers. It is fixed per vehicle, not per person, with taxes, tolls and waiting time included. Send us your flight and you receive the exact rate in writing before you book.
We are a private chauffeur service rather than a taxi rank: the car is booked in advance, the rate is fixed and the chauffeur waits for you whatever the delay. On this route it replaces the taxi and the shared shuttle for most travellers.
Yes. The Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with their cases and ski equipment; beyond that we send two or three vehicles together. Tell us the number of passengers and pairs of skis when you ask for the quote.
With skis, luggage and children, yes: door to door in under two hours instead of two changes and a gondola, and the chauffeur waits if the flight is late. For a solo traveller with hand luggage the train is a reasonable option.
Send us your flight number and the number of passengers. You receive the rate in Swiss francs and your chauffeur's name before you confirm.
