Between Geneva airport and Crans-Montana, in either direction. Lake Geneva, the Rhône valley to Sierre, then the sunny plateau at 1,500 metres, with a private chauffeur and a rate fixed before you leave.
Crans-Montana is nothing like a valley-floor resort. It spreads across a south-facing plateau above Sierre, looking out at the Valais peaks, which is where its reputation for sunshine comes from. People come for the skiing, for golf in summer, and more and more to live there for part of the year.
From Geneva airport the road follows the lake to Lausanne, then the A9 past Montreux, Martigny and Sion to Sierre. From there, about fifteen kilometres of mountain road lead up to the plateau. Allow about two and a quarter hours in good conditions, a little more on winter Saturdays.
Many of our clients book mostly in the other direction, from Crans-Montana to Geneva airport, at the end of a stay or between trips. We then set the departure time around your flight and the day of the week, so that the drive down never turns into a race.
Two motorways, then a plateau road. Nothing difficult about the drive, but it needs to be well timed.
From the airport to Lausanne, with Nyon and Morges by the water. The pinch point is the Lausanne area at rush hour.
Past Montreux, Martigny and Sion to Sierre, a long flat motorway between two mountain ranges.
About fifteen kilometres of mountain road between Sierre and the resort, through the vineyards and then the forest. In winter it is the only part that really needs snow tyres.
Flight number, direction of travel, passengers and luggage. Rate and car confirmed in writing.
Your chauffeur waits in the main arrivals hall with a name board.
Flight followed from take-off, delays absorbed with no waiting charge.
Dropped in Crans, in Montana or in the villages around, at the exact address.
Crans-Montana brings together two historic resorts, Crans and Montana, which grew into each other over time, along with several surrounding villages. The address matters: a chalet above the golf course, a hotel by one of the plateau's lakes and an apartment in Montana are not reached by the same street. Your chauffeur drops you at the right door.
In February 2027, Crans-Montana hosts the Alpine World Ski Championships. During those weeks hotels, roads and available cars will be taken very early. If you plan to be there, it is better to write to us now than to look for a car at the last minute.
In summer the Crans-sur-Sierre golf course hosts the Omega European Masters every year, and the plateau welcomes a different crowd. We run transfers all year round, with the same care as in the ski season.
For one or two travellers, comfortable on the long straight stretches of the Rhône valley.
For business arrivals or end-of-stay returns, when you want to finish the journey rested.
For families and groups, with skis, golf bags and cases, no compromise at loading time.
Confirmed in writing before you book, unchanged by snow or delays.
Outbound, return or both, with a departure time worked out from your flight.
Winter tyres from November and chains on board, Swiss vignette on the car.
2027 World Championships, Omega European Masters: we plan early on your behalf.
A Geneva to Crans-Montana transfer with My Private Service is a private car for your party only, a chauffeur waiting in the arrivals hall, on the Swiss or the French side as you prefer with your name, and a rate fixed in writing before you travel. About 2h15, all on Swiss roads to Sierre, then 15 kilometres of climb to the plateau at 1,500 metres, which hosts the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2027.
A taxi from Geneva airport to Crans-Montana runs on the meter and is rarely equipped for the mountain. Shared coach and shuttle transfers leave on a timetable, stop at other resorts and wait for other flights. By train you reach Sierre in about two hours, then the funicular or a bus up to Montana. A private airport transfer leaves when you land and drops you at the door, which on a Saturday in February makes the difference.
For a family or a group of friends, the Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with skis and luggage; larger groups travel in two or three vehicles leaving together. The same private ski transfer serves the hotels, the chalets and Crans, Montana, Aminona and the golf side.
We run the Crans-Montana to Geneva transfer in both directions. For the return, your chauffeur sets the pick-up time from the road conditions and your flight, so the transfer time from Crans-Montana to Geneva airport is never a gamble. Ask for a return quote and both legs are confirmed together.
Transfer cost, transfer time, distance from Geneva to Crans-Montana or simply how to get from Geneva to Crans-Montana: send us the date, your flight and the number of passengers, and you receive a firm price and your chauffeur's name.
Get a quote for your Geneva to Crans-Montana transferAbout two and a quarter hours from Geneva airport in good conditions, via the A1, the A9 and the climb from Sierre. On winter Saturdays, allow an extra margin.
Yes, it is actually the most requested direction. We set the departure time around your flight and the day of the week, with a wider margin on February Saturdays.
Sion airport is about thirty-five minutes from the resort, but handles few flights, mostly private. For most travellers Geneva remains the arrival point, and we cover both.
Swiss law does not require them, but a badly equipped driver who obstructs traffic in snow is liable. Our cars run winter tyres from November with chains on board.
Yes. In February 2027 Crans-Montana hosts the Alpine World Ski Championships, and demand for transfers will be very high. Booking several weeks ahead is sensible.
Yes, anywhere on the plateau. Give us the exact address and your chauffeur drops you at the door.
The price depends on the car, the date and the number of passengers. It is fixed per vehicle, not per person, with taxes, tolls and waiting time included. Send us your flight and you receive the exact rate in writing before you book.
We are a private chauffeur service rather than a taxi rank: the car is booked in advance, the rate is fixed and the chauffeur waits for you whatever the delay. On this route it replaces the taxi and the shared shuttle for most travellers.
Yes. The Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with their cases and ski equipment; beyond that we send two or three vehicles together. Tell us the number of passengers and pairs of skis when you ask for the quote.
About 185 kilometres from the airport, two and a quarter hours on a clear road along the lake, up the Rhône valley and through the climb from Sierre.
Tell us the date, the direction and your flight number. You receive the rate in Swiss francs and your chauffeur's name before you confirm.
