From Chambéry airport to Val d'Isère, at the head of the upper Tarentaise, in about two and a quarter hours. A private chauffeur, a car equipped for snow and a rate fixed before you leave.
Val d'Isère is at the end of the valley: from Chambéry you follow the motorway to Albertville, the whole N90 past Moûtiers to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then the upper valley road for about thirty kilometres. Around two and a quarter hours when traffic flows, nearly an hour less than from Geneva.
The final climb passes Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, a series of tunnels and the Tignes dam before following Lac du Chevril. It is the well-known bottleneck of changeover Saturdays. With the Col de l'Iseran closed all winter, this single road is the only way in and out of the resort.
The motorway, the long Tarentaise, then the upper Isère valley.
From the airport to Albertville along the Combe de Savoie, three quarters of an hour of motorway.
From Albertville to Bourg-Saint-Maurice via Moûtiers, the longest part of the drive and where Saturday traffic builds.
About thirty kilometres through Sainte-Foy and past the Tignes dam to Val d'Isère. Winter tyres and chains are essential.

Your flight is followed from take-off. A delay moves the meeting time, with no waiting charge.
A name board in the Chambéry arrivals hall, luggage loaded by your chauffeur.
Dropped at your chalet or hotel, in the centre, at Le Fornet or La Daille, or in Tignes on the way.
Val d'Isère stretches along the Isère from La Daille at the entrance to Le Fornet at the head of the valley. Your chauffeur drops you at the right address and can also stop in Tignes, on the same road.
From November to the end of March, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot in the listed communes of Savoie and Haute-Savoie, with a 135 euro fine otherwise. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.
If your flight lands in Geneva, we also run the Geneva to Val d'Isère transfer, about three hours by road.
For one or two travellers, comfortable on the motorway and sure-footed in the mountains on winter tyres.
For arriving rested after the flight, with the quiet you expect from a car of this class.

Chambéry is closer, nearly an hour less on the road and no border. Geneva offers more flights. We cover both.
Not in winter: the pass is closed throughout the cold season. Val d'Isère is reached only via Bourg-Saint-Maurice and the Tignes dam.
From November to March the French mountain law requires 3PMSF winter tyres or chains on board in Savoie, and road signs can make chains mandatory on the D902. Our cars carry both.
Yes, Tignes is on the same road just before Val d'Isère.
Send us your flight, the date and the number of passengers. You receive the rate and your chauffeur's name before you confirm.
