From Chambéry airport to your chalet or palace hotel in Courchevel 1850 in about an hour and a half, an hour less than from Geneva. A private chauffeur, a car equipped for snow and a rate fixed before you leave.
For Courchevel, Chambéry is the closest airport: 109 kilometres, about an hour and a half when the road is clear. The motorway takes you to Albertville, the N90 climbs the Tarentaise to Moûtiers, then the road rises some twenty kilometres of hairpins to 1,850 metres.
That hour saved on Geneva comes with a catch: flights land mostly on Saturdays and Sundays, exactly when the chalets change hands and the Moûtiers bottleneck fills up. We set the pick-up time from the actual landing and the climb from the state of the valley.
A motorway, a valley, then a climb up to the palace hotels. Your chauffeur knows the busy hours of each.
