From Lyon Saint-Exupéry to Courchevel in about two and a half hours, entirely in France. A private chauffeur, a car equipped for the mountains and a rate fixed before you travel.
Courchevel is about 190 kilometres from Lyon Saint-Exupéry, two and a half hours on a clear day, by Chambéry, Albertville and Moûtiers. The whole drive stays in France, which many of our clients prefer to the Geneva route and its border crossing.
From Moûtiers the road climbs through Le Praz and the villages of Courchevel to 1850, the highest and most exclusive level of the resort, where most chalets and palaces are.
Motorway to Albertville, the Tarentaise to Moûtiers, then the climb to Courchevel.
From Saint-Exupéry across the Isère plain to Chambéry, about an hour of motorway.
Along the Combe de Savoie to Albertville, where the Tarentaise begins.
The N90 to Moûtiers, whose bottleneck slows on Saturdays, then the climb by Le Praz to Courchevel 1850.
Flight number, passengers, skis and luggage. Rate and car confirmed in writing.
Flight followed from take-off, delays absorbed with no waiting charge.
A name board in the Saint-Exupéry arrivals hall or at the TGV station exit.
Dropped at your chalet or palace in 1850, Moriond, Village or Le Praz.
Courchevel has several levels, from Le Praz at 1,300 metres to Courchevel 1850. Many chalets sit on private lanes above the Jardin Alpin: send us the exact address and access notes and we plan the last metres.
From November to the end of March, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot in the listed communes of Haute-Savoie and Savoie, with a 135 euro fine otherwise. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.

A Lyon to Courchevel transfer with My Private Service is a private car for your party only, a chauffeur waiting in the Saint-Exupéry arrivals hall or at the TGV station exit with your name, and a rate fixed in writing before you travel. No border and no Swiss vignette: 190 kilometres on the A43 and A430 to Albertville, the Tarentaise to Moûtiers, then the climb to Le Praz, Village, Moriond or 1850.
A taxi from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport to Courchevel runs on the meter and is rarely equipped for the mountain. Shared coach and shuttle transfers leave on a timetable, stop at other resorts and wait for other flights. The train from Lyon stops at Moûtiers, where a car is needed for the last 25 kilometres; Chambéry airport is an hour closer than Lyon if your flight allows it. A private airport transfer leaves when you land and drops you at the door, which on a Saturday in February makes the difference.
For a family or a group of friends, the Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with skis and luggage; larger groups travel in two or three vehicles leaving together. The same private ski transfer serves the hotels, the chalets and Courchevel 1850, Moriond, Village, Le Praz and La Tania.
We run the Courchevel to Lyon transfer in both directions. For the return, your chauffeur sets the pick-up time from the road conditions and your flight, so the transfer time from Courchevel to Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is never a gamble. Ask for a return quote and both legs are confirmed together.
Transfer cost, transfer time, distance from Lyon to Courchevel or simply how to get from Lyon to Courchevel: send us the date, your flight and the number of passengers, and you receive a firm price and your chauffeur's name.

Yes, at Saint-Exupéry station or Lyon Part-Dieu.
The price depends on the car, the date and the number of passengers. It is fixed per vehicle, not per person, with taxes, tolls and waiting time included. Send us your flight and you receive the exact rate in writing before you book.
We are a private chauffeur service rather than a taxi rank: the car is booked in advance, the rate is fixed and the chauffeur waits for you whatever the delay. On this route it replaces the taxi and the shared shuttle for most travellers.
