Milan Fashion Week returns with Menswear from 15 to 19 January 2027, then the Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2027-28 shows from 23 February to 1 March 2027, on the official dates of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. The Spring/Summer 2027 edition ran from 22 to 28 September 2026; its full day by day schedule is below, kept until the next calendar is published.

Moving Around Milan During the Week

Milan is compact, which is misleading. The venues cluster between the Quadrilatero della Moda, Brera, the Tortona district and the converted industrial sites to the south west, but the city closes streets around every show and the central restricted traffic zone is charged on entry.

Seven days at ten shows a day, then a direct handover to Paris on the 28th, means a car that follows without interruption and a chauffeur who knows the service entrances of the private palazzi in the centre.

What a Show Day Actually Looks Like

A day on the Milan calendar is not a series of appointments so much as a chain, and the chain only holds if each link runs to time. A show scheduled for eleven rarely starts at eleven. Guests are asked to arrive thirty to forty minutes early, the room fills, and the collection itself lasts between eight and fifteen minutes. Add the departure crush and a show occupies well over an hour of a day that may hold four of them.

Milan concentrates its venues more tightly than the other three cities, between the Quadrilatero, Brera and the converted industrial spaces of the Tortona district, which sounds convenient until the streets around each show close and the restricted traffic zone in the centre has to be entered legally to reach any of them.

Between the shows sit the appointments nobody photographs: showroom visits, fittings, editorial meetings and the lunches where most of the season's business is actually done. These are scattered across the city rather than clustered near the venues, and they are the reason a car held for the day beats a car ordered for each leg.

Milan also has the tightest handover of the season. The last Milan day and the first Paris day fall together, so a great many people fly out on the morning of the 28th for an afternoon show in Paris. That journey has two ends and both of them are ours to organise.
