From Geneva airport to the gates of Avoriaz in about an hour and a half. A private chauffeur, a car equipped for the mountains and a rate fixed before you travel.
This transfer is part of our Geneva chauffeur service: the same chauffeurs handle Geneva airport transfers, business days in the city and every ski resort of the French and Swiss Alps.
Avoriaz sits at 1,800 metres above Morzine, about ninety-five kilometres from Geneva airport. The drive follows the Morzine route through Cluses, Taninges and Les Gets, then climbs the last fourteen kilometres of hairpins to the resort.
The resort is entirely car-free. Cars stop at the entrance car parks, and from there horse-drawn sleighs and snowcat taxis carry guests and luggage to the residences. Your chauffeur unloads at the reception point and makes sure the bags are handed over.
The Morzine road, then the climb to the plateau. The final stretch is the one that needs a mountain driver.
From the airport across the border to Cluses, about forty minutes on a normal day.
Through Taninges and over Les Gets, then down into Morzine.
Fourteen kilometres of hairpins above Les Prodains to the resort entrance and its car parks.

Because no car goes beyond the entrance, the timing of your arrival matters: sleigh and snowcat services keep set hours. We tell you before departure whether your residence offers luggage transport and adjust the drive to arrive while it runs.
From November to the end of March, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot in the listed communes of Haute-Savoie and Savoie, with a 135 euro fine otherwise. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.
