Geneva airport to Alpe d'Huez: private transfer, taxi or shared shuttle?

Private transfer from Geneva airport to Alpe d'Huez

A Geneva to Alpe d'Huez transfer with My Private Service is a private car for your party only, a chauffeur waiting in the arrivals hall with your name, and a rate fixed in writing before you travel. Alpe d'Huez is about three hours from Geneva via Annecy, Chambéry and Grenoble, then Le Bourg-d'Oisans and the 21 hairpins up to the resort.

Taxi Geneva to Alpe d'Huez, shared shuttle or private chauffeur?

A taxi from Geneva airport to Alpe d'Huez runs on the meter and is rarely equipped for the mountain. Shared coaches leave on a timetable, stop at other resorts and wait for other flights. The train goes as far as Grenoble, still more than an hour below the resort, so a car is needed anyway. A private airport transfer leaves when you land and drops you at the door.

For a family or a group of friends, the Mercedes V-Class takes seven passengers with skis and luggage; larger groups travel in two or three vehicles leaving together. The same private ski transfer serves the hotels and chalets of Alpe d'Huez, Huez, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Auris.
