Spain works by environmental sticker rather than by timetable. Madrid's zone covers the entire municipality around the clock, and the central district admits a lesser category only when the car is heading for a public car park. Foreign plates have to be registered. None of it is complicated and all of it is one more thing to handle before dinner.

Madrid runs on its own clock and a day here stretches at both ends. Meetings on the Castellana in the morning, lunch that begins when other cities are finishing, an afternoon between the Prado and the Salamanca district, dinner at ten and a drink afterwards. That shape is very pleasant to live and very awkward to improvise with taxis, because the two moments you most need a car are exactly the two when the city is asking for one all at once.
The centre has its own rules. The low emission area covering the old districts restricts who may drive in, and our vehicles carry the classification that allows it, which means a drop at the door of a hotel on Gran Via or a restaurant near Plaza Mayor rather than at the edge of the zone with a walk in the heat. In July and August that last detail is not a small one.
The other thing Madrid does better than almost anywhere is the day out. Toledo is under an hour south, Segovia a similar run north through the mountains, Avila and El Escorial fit the same shape, and the Ribera del Duero estates make a long and worthwhile day. Because the booking is counted in hours, going out of the city does not require a second arrangement, only a word to the chauffeur.
For business travel the practical part is IFEMA and the fairs, where the difference between an arranged car and a rank is measured in half hours, and for family travel it is the luggage, the shopping and the children, all of which stay in the car between stops. The same chauffeur across a few days stops needing to be told things.
A handful of distances make the planning easier. Barajas is about fifteen kilometres from the centre, usually half an hour, more at the evening peak. Toledo is around seventy kilometres south, Segovia ninety north through the sierra, Avila a hundred and ten, El Escorial fifty, and the Ribera del Duero estates between a hundred and fifty and two hundred. Inside Madrid, crossing from Salamanca to the Prado or up to the Castellana rarely takes more than twenty minutes outside rush hour.

Does the low emission zone affect my booking?
No. Madrid's scheme covers the whole municipality around the clock and works by vehicle category rather than by hour. Our fleet complies, so the central district is not a question for you.
Are stops limited?
No, not inside the area agreed at booking. Madrid eats late and the schedule moves with you.
Can you do Toledo or Segovia in a day?
Yes, both are standard full day bookings. Each is about an hour out, and the car stays with you throughout.
Does the car wait during dinner?
Yes. The chauffeur parks nearby and returns when you call, with the pickup point agreed beforehand.
Which vehicles are available?

Can the car drive into the restricted central area?

Can the booking be extended on the day?

How does payment work?
