Humberto Delgado Airport is one of the closest major airports to any European capital, and our Lisbon airport transfers make the most of that. Off-peak, the drive to the centre takes about 15 to 25 minutes.
Close does not always mean simple, though. Under ANA rules, cars may only pick up passengers in the Kiss & Fly and car park zones. Stopping anywhere else can cost a driver a fine of 1,500 euros. That is why a private chauffeur who knows the layout makes a real difference here.

Arrivals in Terminal 1
All arrivals use Terminal 1, the TAP Air Portugal hub. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with your name and helps with your luggage.
Departures from T1 or T2
Terminal 2 handles departures only, for some low-cost European flights. Tell us your airline and we drop you at the right building, which saves a confused walk with suitcases.
Day trips beyond the city
Many guests head straight to Cascais, Estoril or Sintra. A car service avoids changes of train and lets you stop for lunch on the way.
Families and groups
The V-Class seats up to seven with room for large bags. Child seats are fitted before pick-up, on request and at no surprise.
Lisbon airport transfers: what to know about LIS

A departures-only building used by some low-cost carriers on European routes. It is separate from Terminal 1, so the correct drop-off matters.
These are the only zones where passengers may be collected. The first 10 minutes in Kiss & Fly are free, and stopping outside authorised areas risks a 1,500 euro fine.

Is the metro faster than a private driver?
The metro from Aeroporto station takes about 20 minutes to downtown, with a change at Saldanha for Baixa. A private driver takes a similar time off-peak, but you go door to door with your luggage and no change.

My flight leaves from Terminal 2. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Terminal 2 is used for departures by some low-cost airlines. Simply tell us your airline when you book and we take you to the correct terminal.
Is Lisbon getting a new airport?
Yes. The new Luís de Camões airport at Alcochete is expected to be fully operational in 2034. Until then, Humberto Delgado remains the city's airport, and our Lisbon airport transfers run from there.
