The Centro Storico zone runs weekday mornings and Saturday afternoons, the Tridente closes longer and all day Saturday, Trastevere and Testaccio have night zones from eleven, and the Fascia Verde covers everything inside the ring road. What is the minimum booking?
Four hours. For a single airport run the point to point transfer is better value and we will say so.
Can the car enter the restricted zones?
Yes. Licensed private hire vehicles are permitted in the ZTL where private cars are not, which is one of the main practical reasons clients book a driver here.
How close can the car get to the Colosseum or the Vatican?
Close, but not to the door, because the last stretch is pedestrian at both. The chauffeur stops at the nearest legal point and tells you which entrance to walk to.
Are stops limited?
No, not inside the area agreed at booking. Lunch running to three o'clock simply moves the rest of the day.
Can you do Tivoli or Orvieto in a day?
Yes, both are standard full day bookings, with the car staying with you throughout.
Which vehicles are available?
Mercedes E-Class and S-Class for one to three passengers, V-Class for groups and luggage.
