Rome Airport Transfers
Rome airport transfers from Fiumicino or Ciampino, with a licensed chauffeur waiting just outside the terminal and a fixed price agreed before you fly. One booking covers your bags, your flight changes and the drive into the Eternal City.
Two airports, two very different arrivals
Rome has two airports, and they could hardly be less alike. Our Rome airport transfers start with the right one: Fiumicino for most long-haul and full-service flights, Ciampino for Ryanair, Wizz Air and private jets.
Fiumicino lies about 32 km from the centre, according to Aeroporti di Roma. Off-peak, the drive takes about an hour, but traffic can change that. Ciampino is much closer, just outside the GRA ring road, and usually 30 to 40 minutes away, up to an hour at peak times.
Our private drivers know both routes well. Because the price is fixed in advance, a slow day on the A91 never affects what you pay.

01
Tell us your airport, flight number and address by WhatsApp, email or form. We confirm a fixed price and the car class.

02
We track your flight. If it is diverted from one Rome airport to the other, we move the car too.

03
Your chauffeur greets you with a sign, takes your luggage and drives you into Rome.

Fiumicino T1 and T3
ITA Airways uses T1, while T3 is the largest terminal and includes the non-Schengen satellite. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals and walks you to the car parked nearby.

Ciampino arrivals
Ciampino has a single, single-storey terminal with no jet bridges. Exits are quick, and your driver waits just outside with your name.

Business aviation
Ciampino is Rome's main business aviation airport, with its own GA terminal and customs. Jetex Rome is the listed FBO, and we time the car to your handling.

Cruise and group transfers
A V-Class seats up to 7 with generous luggage space. It suits families, film crews and passengers heading to the port at Civitavecchia.
Rome airport transfers: Fiumicino and Ciampino in practice
Older guides still mention Fiumicino T2 and T5. Both are gone: T2 closed in 2017 and T5 was merged into T3. Here is what matters today. Official airport information: Aeroporti di Roma.
Home base of ITA Airways, with gates A and the new Pier A. The Kiss&Go area gives 15 free minutes, timed electronically, then penalties apply.
The largest terminal, with gates E, the former T5 area and the non-Schengen satellite. Short-stay car parks add 15 free minutes for arrivals.
One terminal with 16 gates, a Ryanair base with seasonal Wizz Air flights. Licensed NCC cars wait right outside.
At Ciampino, general aviation runs from 06:00 to 23:00 with prior permission. Fiumicino has no GA terminal and takes general aviation mainly at night, when Ciampino is closed.

To book a private transfer from Fiumicino or Ciampino to Rome, send us your flight number and address by WhatsApp, email or our form. We confirm a fixed price and a Mercedes. Your chauffeur then waits for you at arrivals with a name sign.
A tip: check which airport is printed on your ticket. Many travellers book a hotel near Termini expecting Fiumicino, then land at Ciampino.

Which Rome airport will I land at?
Most full-service and long-haul flights use Fiumicino. Ryanair, seasonal Wizz Air flights and most private jets use Ciampino. Your ticket shows FCO or CIA.
Is the Leonardo Express faster?
The Leonardo Express reaches Roma Termini in 32 minutes non-stop. It works well if you stay near the station. A private chauffeur, however, drives you to your door with your luggage.
How long is the drive from Ciampino?
Usually 30 to 40 minutes, and up to an hour at peak times. By public transport, you need a shuttle bus to Ciampino station, then about 10 minutes by train to Termini.
Can you meet a private flight at Ciampino?
Yes. Ciampino has a GA terminal with its own customs, and Jetex Rome is the listed FBO. Share your handling details and arrival time, and we arrange the car discreetly.
Do you offer Rome airport transfers late at night?
Yes, 24/7. Late arrivals are common at Fiumicino, and our price stays the one agreed beforehand.
