Taxi Alternative
in Nice
Nice Côte d’Azur is the third busiest airport in France and it sits seven kilometres from the Promenade des Anglais. A car booked in advance means the driver already knows which of the two terminals you land in, and the fare is settled before you leave.
My Private Service provides a private chauffeur service in Nice: airport transfers Nice NCE, Monaco transfers, executive car hire and VIP transportation available 24/7 across Nice and the French Riviera.
Why arrivals at Nice
are different
Seven kilometres separate the terminals from the Promenade des Anglais, which sounds like nothing until a July afternoon proves otherwise. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are two separate buildings joined by tram line 2, the coast road is the only road once you leave the motorway, and the hour you land decides whether Monaco is thirty minutes away or twice that. A booked car absorbs all of it before you land.
Five things that change
on this coast
Landing at Nice means choosing between two terminals, a tram, an intercity bus and a queue. Here is what a prepared arrival looks like on the Côte d’Azur.
- We know which terminal your flight arrives at and the driver waits inside that building, not at a shared pick-up point you have to find.
- Nice handles more business aviation than any French airport except Le Bourget. The business aviation terminal sits beside Terminal 2 with its own access, and we coordinate with your handler rather than the main arrivals hall.
- The run to Monaco takes around thirty minutes on a clear motorway and considerably longer on the Basse Corniche in season, so the departure is set around the hour rather than around an average.
- Grand Prix week in Monaco, the Film Festival in Cannes and the Yacht Show in September close whole sections of the coast. We work those weeks every year and say plainly what is reachable and when.
- The same chauffeur can take you from Nice to Antibes, Cannes and Saint-Tropez in a single day, which matters on a stretch where the coast road is often the only road.

How far is Nice airport from the city centre?
Seven kilometres, west along the coast. That is a short drive on a quiet morning and a good deal longer when the Promenade is busy, which is why the pick-up is timed to your flight rather than to a fixed schedule.
Which terminal will my chauffeur meet me at?
Whichever one you land in. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are separate buildings linked by tram line 2, so the terminal and the exact meeting point are confirmed when you book and nobody ends up crossing the airport.
How long does it take to reach Monaco from Nice airport?
Around thirty minutes in clear conditions. During Grand Prix week, on summer afternoons and whenever the Basse Corniche is busy it can be a great deal more, and the departure time is set accordingly.
Can you meet a private jet at Nice?
Yes. The business aviation terminal sits next to Terminal 2 and has its own access, so we coordinate the meeting point with your handler or your crew instead of waiting in the public arrivals hall.
Do you also cover Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Tropez?
All of them, from Nice. Cannes is roughly half an hour, Antibes a little less, and Saint-Tropez around an hour and a half outside the summer, appreciably more in July and August.
Is the rate fixed before I travel?
Always, in writing, before anything is confirmed. There is no meter in the car and the amount does not move for traffic or for waiting time at the airport.
