Taxi Alternative
in New York

New York punishes vagueness. JFK, LaGuardia and Newark are three different problems, the bridges and tunnels are four more, and the fifteen minutes you lose at the curb are the fifteen minutes that matter.

My Private Service provides a private chauffeur service in New York, airport transfers JFK, LGA and EWR, executive car hire and VIP transportation available 24/7 across Manhattan and the New York metropolitan area.

WHY A CHAUFFEUR IN NEW YORK

Three airports,
and none of them forgiving

Getting into Manhattan depends less on distance than on which crossing you take and at what hour. JFK is east through Queens, LaGuardia is closer but narrower, Newark is in another state and often the fastest of the three. Teterboro is where most private arrivals land.

WHAT CHANGES

Met at arrivals, not at a rideshare lot

The rideshare pickup areas at the New York airports are a long walk and a long wait. For a business arrival or a family with luggage, that is the whole argument.

  • Meet and greet inside the terminal with a name board, rather than a walk to a remote pickup lot
  • Crossing chosen on the day, because the Midtown Tunnel, the Queensboro and the Triborough are not interchangeable
  • Teterboro and the private terminals covered, timed on the actual landing
  • Flight tracked, with no waiting surcharge when the arrival slips, which at these airports is routine
  • Fixed rate confirmed before departure, with no surge on a rainy Friday evening

NEW YORK, PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Which airport should I fly into?

It depends on where you are staying and when you land. Newark is frequently faster into Midtown than JFK despite the map, and LaGuardia is closest but tightest. Tell us the flight and we will tell you what the transfer realistically looks like.

Where does the chauffeur meet me?

Inside the terminal, at arrivals, with a name board. Not at a rideshare lot, which at JFK and Newark is a significant walk and wait.

Do you cover Teterboro?

Yes. Private arrivals are met on the field side and the transfer is timed on the actual landing rather than the filed arrival.

Can the car stay with me during the day?

Yes, from four hours. In Manhattan the hourly format mostly buys you the certainty of a car waiting, which on a wet evening is worth more than the time saved.

Do you run to the Hamptons or to Boston?

Both. The Hamptons in season and Greenwich or Westchester year round, and Philadelphia and Boston as fixed-rate long-distance transfers when the train does not fit the schedule.

Which vehicles are available?

Mercedes S-Class and V-Class, with the V-Class the usual choice for arrivals with luggage. Close protection is available separately with certified agents.
