Samoëns keeps its market square, its sixteenth-century church and its stone houses; the skiing starts a few minutes away at the Grand Massif Express. Most chalets sit on narrow lanes outside the centre, where knowing the access in snow matters more than the distance.
From November to the end of March, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot in the listed communes of Haute-Savoie, Savoie and Isère, with a 135 euro fine otherwise. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.
