Courchevel Airport Transfers
Courchevel airport transfers from Geneva, Lyon or Chambéry, and from the altiport above Courchevel 1850. We plan each drive around mountain roads, Saturday traffic and the weather.
Most journeys start in the valley
Courchevel has its own altiport, yet most guests fly into a larger airport and drive up. Our Courchevel airport transfers cover all four options, with a driver waiting when you land.
Geneva and Lyon are both about two hours away in good conditions. In winter, however, the timing changes. On Saturdays, when chalets change guests, the trip from Geneva can take more than three hours.
The last part of the route is the same for everyone. A dual carriageway runs to Moûtiers, then the road climbs for about 30 minutes to the resort. A private chauffeur who knows this climb, and plans for it, makes the day far easier.

01
Send your airport, flight number and chalet or hotel. We reply with a fixed price for the whole route.

02
We track the flight and any diversion. Your driver waits in arrivals with your name.

03
The motorway to Moûtiers, then the climb to Courchevel. Stops on the way are easy to arrange.

Geneva and Lyon transfers
The two main gateways for international flights. Your driver meets you in arrivals and loads skis and bags into the car. We build in extra time on winter weekends.

Altiport pick-ups
If you land on the altiport runway, your hotel is only a couple of minutes away. We collect you at the terminal so your luggage goes straight to the door.

Chambéry, the backup airport
Fog or low cloud often stops landings at the altiport, and flights then divert to Chambéry. We can switch the pick-up there at short notice.

Families with ski gear
The V-Class seats up to seven with room for ski bags. Child seats are fitted on request before the drive.
Courchevel airport transfers from four airports
Choosing the right airport often comes down to the season and the day of the week. Below are the facts that matter for each one. Official airport information: Courchevel Altiport (Courchevel Tourisme).
A 537 m runway at 2,008 m with an 18.6% slope, beside the pistes. It takes small planes and helicopters year-round, but has no instrument approach, so bad weather closes it.
179 km by road. About 2 hours officially, 2h15 to 3 hours in winter, and over 3 hours on winter Saturdays.
176 km by road. About 2 hours officially, and around 2h30 to 3h15 in winter.
95 km, about 1h15 and up to 1h45. It has limited, mostly seasonal charter flights and receives altiport diversions.

Send us your arrival airport, flight number and address in Courchevel. We reply with a fixed price and confirm your driver. On arrival, your driver waits with a name sign and handles skis and luggage.
Tip: if you can, avoid arriving on a winter Saturday. Changeover traffic adds 30 to 45 minutes or more, so a Friday or Sunday arrival is much calmer.

Which airport is best for Courchevel?
Geneva and Lyon have the most flights and are each about two hours away in good conditions. Chambéry is closer at 95 km but has mostly seasonal charters. The altiport suits small private aircraft and helicopters.
How long does the drive from Geneva take in winter?
Usually 2h15 to 3 hours, and over 3 hours on Saturdays. We plan for that when we agree your pick-up time.
What happens if my altiport flight is diverted?
Fog or low cloud makes landing nearly impossible, and flights divert to Chambéry. Tell us, or we see it on the tracker, and we send the car there.
Do the roads need chains?
Winter tyres and chains are advised for the mountain road. We plan every winter transfer with this in mind, especially for the final climb from Moûtiers.
Can you drive us back to the airport?
Yes. Our Courchevel airport transfers run in both directions, with departure times set for the season and the day of the week.
