Cannes is a small town with a very large diary. What follows is what a prepared arrival looks like here, in May as much as in November.
- There is no scheduled airport in Cannes, so the pick-up is arranged at Nice or at Cannes Mandelieu, and the driver is inside the right building before you land.
- Cannes Mandelieu is one of the main business aviation fields in France and sits five kilometres west of the centre, close enough that the transfer is short and the coordination with your handler matters more than the distance.
- During the Film Festival in May and the Yachting Festival in September, access to the Croisette and the Palais is controlled and parts of the seafront close. We work both every year and say in advance where the car can actually stop.
- MIPIM in March, Cannes Lions in June and MAPIC in November fill the town in the same way, and a car held on standby is worth more than a car called for each leg.

Does Cannes have its own airport?
Cannes Mandelieu handles private and corporate aviation five kilometres west of the centre, but scheduled flights land at Nice Côte d’Azur, roughly twenty-five kilometres east. We meet you at either.
How long does it take from Nice airport to Cannes?
Around half an hour when the A8 is clear. On a summer afternoon, or during the Film Festival, it is longer, so the departure is set around your flight and the day rather than an average.
Can you drive into the Croisette during the Film Festival?
Parts of it are closed and access is controlled through the festival period. We work it every year and agree the drop-off point with you beforehand instead of discovering it on the day.
Do you handle private jets at Cannes Mandelieu?
Yes. It is one of the busier business aviation fields in France and the transfer into town is short, so the coordination happens with your handler or crew rather than at a public terminal.
Can the same driver stay with us for the day?
