Our Cannes airport transfers depend first on how you fly. Airline passengers land at Nice Côte d'Azur and come along the A8 motorway. Private jets often use Cannes-Mandelieu, a short drive from the town centre.
Each airport works differently. Nice is France's second-largest airport, and about a fifth of its traffic is business aviation. Cannes-Mandelieu, on the other hand, handles business and general aviation only, with set opening hours.
So we start by asking where you land. Then we plan the meeting point, track your arrival and send the right car. Travel time from Nice depends on traffic, which changes a great deal during festivals and trade fairs.

Nice terminal pick-ups
Nice has two terminals. Terminal 2, used by Air France and Emirates, was extended in April 2026. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
Jet arrivals at Mandelieu
Cannes-Mandelieu is France's second business aviation airport. We meet you at the FBO and have you on the road within minutes, since the town is only 5 km away.
Festival and congress weeks
The Film Festival, MIPIM and Cannes Lions fill the Palais des Festivals. A dedicated chauffeur service saves you from taxi queues and searching for parking.

Cannes airport transfers: Nice or Mandelieu
Mandelieu suits private jets, but it has rules. Since October 2015, quiet jets up to about 35 tonnes, such as the Falcon 7X or G450, may land there. Noisy types remain banned, and the FBO closes in the evening. Official airport information: Cannes-Mandelieu Airport.
Terminals 1 and 2 handle airline flights. The Business Aviation Terminal hosts three FBOs: AviaVIP, Signature Aviation and DC Aviation G-OPS, with parking for about 120 business aircraft.
Business and general aviation only, with runways of 1,610 m and 760 m. Free parking near the terminal makes the pick-up quick, and A8 exit 41 is close by.
Opens at 06:30. Closes at 20:00 in winter, 21:00 in spring and autumn, and 22:00 from 4 May to 23 August.

Which airport is closer to Cannes?
Cannes-Mandelieu lies 5 km west of Cannes, but it only takes business and general aviation. Airline passengers land at Nice Côte d'Azur and drive along the A8.
Can my jet land at Cannes-Mandelieu?
Quiet jets up to about 35 tonnes have been allowed since October 2015, for example the Falcon 7X or G450. Noisy aircraft are banned. Your operator will confirm.
What if I land after the FBO closes?
The FBO closes between 20:00 and 22:00 depending on the season. For a late arrival, Nice is usually the option, and we adjust the pick-up.
Do you work during the Film Festival?
Yes. Festival weeks are among our busiest, so we suggest booking well ahead. We can also keep a car and driver with you for the day.
Can you collect us from a boat?
Yes. Cannes-Mandelieu even has boat access via Port Abri du Béal, and we meet guests at ports along the coast as part of our Cannes airport transfers.
