Les Deux Alpes is laid out along a single avenue about two kilometres long, with the 1650 quarter at the entrance, the centre and the lifts in the middle and the Alpe de Venosc at the far end. The exact address saves a loop through the one-way streets in season.
From November to the end of March, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains in the boot in the listed communes of Savoie and Isère, with a 135 euro fine otherwise. Our cars are equipped for the whole season.

How long is the drive from Lyon to Les Deux Alpes?
About two hours and a quarter from Lyon Saint-Exupéry for roughly 160 kilometres on a clear day. On in-season Saturdays, the Romanche valley can add half an hour or more.
Which route does the chauffeur take?
The A43 and A48 to Grenoble, the A480 and the N85 to Vizille, the D1091 up the Romanche to the Chambon dam, then the D213 to the resort.

Yes, the two resorts share the Romanche valley as far as Bourg-d'Oisans and are about forty minutes apart by road. We run transfers from Lyon to both.
