Skip the LAX-it shuttle
Los Angeles airport transfers work differently from most cities. At LAX, taxis and standard ride apps collect passengers only at the LAX-it lot east of Terminal 1. Pre-arranged chauffeured cars are exempt, so your driver picks you up right outside baggage claim.
LAX is about 29 km from downtown Los Angeles, and few cities have traffic this variable. We give you a realistic journey time for your hour of arrival, rather than a promise nobody can keep.
For many trips, however, LAX is not the obvious choice. Hollywood Burbank opened a new terminal on 13 October 2026, and Van Nuys is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world. We cover all three.

Outer curb pick-up at LAX
Limousines and executive cars collect passengers at the outer curb of the lower arrivals level, outside baggage claim. Until you are ready, cars stage at the limo holding lot, moved in September 2025 to 6100 Westchester Parkway.
Burbank's new terminal
The replacement terminal sits on the opposite side of the airfield, with a new main entrance at Winona Avenue and Hollywood Way. We plan your pick-up around the new layout from day one.
Private jets at Van Nuys
Van Nuys handles general aviation only, with FBOs including Castle & Cooke Aviation, Clay Lacy Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature. We meet guests at the FBO and drive them straight home.
Studios, shoots and long days
Press days and productions often mean several stops. Keep the same private driver by the hour, in an E-Class, an S-Class or a V-Class for up to seven.
LAX, Burbank or Van Nuys
Each airport suits a different part of the city and a different kind of trip. Official airport information: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Nine terminals in a horseshoe: Terminals 1 to 8 plus Tom Bradley International, whose West Gates gained eight more gates in 2025. Terminal 6 was renovated in 2025, while Terminals 4 and 5 are under renovation until 2028.
The new 14-gate terminal opened on 13 October 2026 and keeps walk-on boarding. Southwest carried 56.5% of passengers in 2025. Lot E has closed, valet moved to the new terminal and rideshare uses a new lot nearby.
A general aviation airport in the San Fernando Valley, with no airline service. It also hosts a LAX FlyAway bus terminal and runs a noise abatement programme.

Do I have to go to LAX-it?
No. LAX-it is for taxis and standard ride apps. Pre-arranged limousines and executive cars pick up at the outer curb outside baggage claim, on the lower level.
How long is the drive from LAX to downtown?
LAX is about 29 km from downtown Los Angeles. Traffic varies widely by hour, so we estimate from your arrival time. Access runs via Century Blvd to I-405, or south through the Airport Tunnel to I-105.
What changed at Hollywood Burbank?
A new 14-gate terminal opened on 13 October 2026, on the opposite side of the airfield. The main entrance is now at Winona Avenue and Hollywood Way, and Lot E is closed.
Can you meet a private flight at Van Nuys?
Yes. Send us the FBO, for example Clay Lacy or Signature, and the tail number. Your chauffeur is waiting there when the aircraft lands.
Is there a train link at LAX?
The LAX/Metro Transit Center opened in 2025, but the Automated People Mover to the terminals is now targeted for January 2027. Until then, a car remains the most direct option.
